3 Card Reading for Directional Awareness

I originally intended the Youtube channel to be a small addition to the blog but it would appear that, over the past few weeks, it’s actually a bit reversed.  The blog has become an addition to the video channel!  I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the amount of information that can be shared and communicated over the video format and will probably be doing a lot more vids in the near future.

For instance, I designed a three card spread for a quick personal reading I needed to do.  It worked so well for me I grabbed the camera and in a short amount of time was able to share all the information.  The vid is below.

I do hope to be getting more writing done VERY soon, including going off in a direction that I don’t think you will have seen coming.  More on that later when I’m ready to talk about it.  There are several projects I want to get moving again and one of those is the Leystone Project now that the weather is turning for the better.  My largest hang-up there?  Wondering how much information I should give and whether or not to even have pictures and video of the places I go because it could, within dowsing theory, be used as a target for negative influences.

I think at this point the best thing I can do is ask the rods themselves and permission of each area’s Genus Loci.  Regardless, I want some protocol in place before I go broadcasting images out.

Videos and Weekly Readings

I’ve been lax in posting here since I’ve fallen a bit in love with making videos for Youtube.  Below you’ll find my newest idea which is to take the Faeries’ Oracle out into Nature and have them give us a three card reading for the upcoming week.  With this reading, I wanted to focus on what they wanted to tell us from the point of view of Earth Energies.  What did THEY want us to know and look out for in the week ahead?

For the location of the video, I took my dowsing rods and asked if there was a spot for me to do the reading?  After getting a “Yes”, I started following their lead.  It lead me to a wonderful little spot by a small creek where I’ve also found a few of the quartz geodes discussed in previous posts.  Amazingly enough, the nearby chainsaw stopped just as I was about filming.

There was a visiting butterfly who never landed on the card cloth but did, in fact, land all around the area I was filming.  Always a good sign!  As I wrapped up the reading, gathered up my things and headed back I noticed that two young boys and their Mother were exploring and coming up the creek towards where I had just departed.

It’s all in the timing, right?

I might have more to add as the week goes on, commentary and such in regards to the reading.  We’ll see how the week goes!  I think the Solus energy is liable to be VERY powerful until about late Tuesday and the middle of the week is liable to get, well, a little wacky.  You never really know what the Green Woman might have in store for you but I do know that if you let it, it will be fun.  Later in the week we’re going to want to get really focused on grounding.  I get the sense that something might be coming along around Thursday or Friday and the proper response is going to be to get grounded and in touch with deep level Earth energy.

I’m in the process of finding a happy mix between posting here, doing readings, and posting videos on the channel.  On top of that, Spring has sprung and the weather has turned beautiful in my neck of the woods.  This means that housework and chores tend to take a back seat as I succumb to the siren call of birds, breeze and brook.

As I get out, dowse and do my thing, it’s much easier to take the camera.  I’ll try to do better about bringing a notepad as well!

Rising Earth Energies and a Special Announcement

In my research regarding crystals and energy over the past few weeks I stumbled across an interesting notion.  It was put forward that the energy of the Earth has been increasing lately and it’s this increase which could  be causing so much of the traumas and dramas we have seen in the past two years.  (For clarification – The energy in question is the subtle energies that everyone can pick up on but few learn to use.  The etheric energy that seems to cover Mama Earth  call it what you will.)  The thought seemed to stick with me for several days and I finally decided it would be a good idea to do a card reading on the question.  If nothing else, it would be a good way to get in some practice!

And this is where I pause for a quick but very special announcement!

I was finally able to purchase a lower end video camera and, yes, I am officially inviting all of you to my Youtube channel!  I’ve had the best of times on there so far and am absolutely addicted to the amount of information to be found.  I’m hoping to use the channel to demonstrate not only readings but also my work in the field with dowsing materials.  If nothing else, I hope my efforts, if not educational or helpful, are at least entertaining.

Back to the reading.  I did the reading in a style that I call a “conversation reading.”  It went well and I felt it had been very informative.  However, the sequence of events had not played themselves out to the full.

A few hours after doing the reading I was driving around town on errands.  The information in the reading had been very thought-provoking and, well, cool.  I realized that the question could not really be answered by one person.  We’re talking about an energy that spans the entire globe, right?  Last time I checked, this marble we live on is rather, well, HUGE.  I wanted to share my reading but I also wanted to hear other voices on the subject.  Inspiration struck again and I’ve decided to go one step further then simply posting the video.  I wanted to put out  a call.

After watching the video (or even BEFORE you watch the video), I’m asking everyone to do their own reading on the subject of  “Is the Earth’s Energy Increasing?” and then post your results as comments in the blog or as a video response on Youtube.  It can be any kind of reading you like with any kind of oracle or subject.  Tarot, runes, oracle cards, I-Ching or even other forms like Ouija/letterboard or an EVP session are all welcome. One card, seven cards, whatever size you wish to do.

This way we can get a much larger perspective to a subject that effects every one of us.

The Stellium

I had big plans for this weekend.  I really really did!  By late Thursday, however, I was starting to get a sense something or someone wanted me to hold back.  That’s when I checked into the astrological skies and found my answer.  I’m sure most of you have your favorite astrological pages.  I suggest that if you haven’t checked your favorite astrology page for the weekend you should plan on doing that next after reading this post.  I use a handful of pages myself along with my own base level knowledge to gather the information.  I’m glad I did because, as far as I could tell, this weekend is a real mess and not the time to move forward with ANY sort of initiative.  As far as solid astrology pages, Astroblogick happens to be one of my favorites.

In brief: today and over the weekend, six planets are joining up together  for the Aries New Moon, including Mars.  Sunday, Mother’s Day, has all the makings of a large train wreck.  (Treat Mom with extra love on Sunday and this includes Mother Earth!)   This combined with Mercury Retrograde has all the markings for “REALLY Bad Idea” when it comes to launching a new idea or project, especially one that just popped into your head late last week like mine did.    Let’s add in the fact this project involved a blog and communication and, well, there you have it.  I just ordered all engines to a full stop!

So consider this post a quick “heads up” and a small advertisement/announcement there are some fun and interesting things ahead.   I’ll be spending the weekend double checking some of my sources for a good time frame and doing what one SHOULD be doing during a time like this which involves putting the energies that ARE presented to good use; cleaning, organizing, planning and initial drafts!

Update — A PERFECT example of how crazy things are… If you  read the above and went, “Woah, wait a minute, it’s NOT Mother’s Day this weekend!” then let me explain.  You see, the above happened due to being up at 5 AM, no coffee AND somehow having my google calendar on the wrong month but not realizing it.

You should still, however, send love to your Mom this weekend.  Tell her it’s warm-up for next month…
